1. About Us
Drivewaylights.com.au is a Brisbane Northside-based business providing solar driveway light supply and installation services. By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Service Area
We only service properties located in Brisbane Northside, Queensland. If your delivery address falls outside our service area, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order. Service area boundaries are determined at our sole discretion.
3. What You're Purchasing
Each order includes one pair of solar-powered driveway lights and professional installation at your property. The price listed at checkout is the total price including supply, delivery, and installation. No additional fees apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Installation
Our installation uses industrial-grade adhesive applied to your existing driveway surface. We do not drill, cut, trench, or otherwise modify your driveway. By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are the property owner, or you have written permission from the property owner for installation.
- Your driveway surface is suitable for adhesive installation (concrete, brick, or paved surfaces).
- You will provide reasonable access to your driveway at the agreed installation time.
We will contact you by phone after your order to arrange an installation date and time. If we cannot reach you within 7 days of your order, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order.
5. Installation Limitations
We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage, cracks, stains, or surface conditions on your driveway.
- Adhesive marks or residue if lights are later removed.
- Driveway surfaces that are unsuitable for adhesive bonding (loose gravel, unsealed surfaces, deteriorating concrete).
- Reduced solar charging performance due to shading, tree coverage, or positioning of your driveway.
If we determine at the time of installation that your driveway is unsuitable, we will offer a full refund and will not proceed with installation.
6. Product Disclaimer
Our solar driveway lights are decorative lighting products. They are not safety devices, security lighting, or replacements for street lighting. They should not be relied upon as primary illumination for driveways, walkways, or any other area. Performance depends on sunlight exposure, weather conditions, and battery life. Light brightness and duration may vary by season and weather.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Drivewaylights.com.au's total liability for any claim arising from our products or services is limited to the purchase price you paid. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: property damage, personal injury, loss of use, or any other losses arising from the use of our products.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited.
8. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of installation. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by the customer, third parties, extreme weather, or tampering.
9. Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is required at the time of order. We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout.
10. Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time before installation by contacting us. If installation has already been completed, our 30-day money-back guarantee applies. We reserve the right to cancel orders for addresses outside our service area or if we cannot contact you to arrange installation.
11. Privacy
We collect your name, address, phone number, and email solely for the purpose of processing your order and arranging installation. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
